  • "M-Mr. Revelar..." I stuttered as we entered his condo unit. "We left m-my car,” I hesitated. My voice sounded small, almost fragile in the vast space of the modern condo.   • "Does it still hurt?" he asked flatly. His voice was calm but carried that unmistakable undercurrent of command. The way he asked it, without any warmth, made my stomach twist in nervous anticipation. I could sense that the question was not just about a physical wound; it carried the weight of previous encounters, the memories that neither of us would admit out loud.
