• When Vincent told me that Evelina met Kirsty for brunch, I’d been happy. I thought maybe the two were going to get along. It would have made things a hell of a lot easier for me. But when he informed me that Evelina had been upset after her meeting with Kirsty, I began to wonder if maybe Kirsty had said something to make her angry.
• It didn’t take me long to realize Kirsty said something to Evelina to make her leave. The house was empty. She’d left a note with a hastily written “Good-bye. Don’t try to follow me". Nice try, Mi Vida.
