• Shit. I missed Evelina. I hated the fact that it was so important for me to go see Lorenzo. But we owed it to Remy. Lorenzo would not have entertained anyone else because he was a stuck up prick. His mind-link was closed off, which meant he didn’t want to talk to anyone. Which meant he’d most likely turn away a lesser ranked wolf from my pack. If Remy died because I was too proud to go see Lorenzo, then I didn't deserve to lead my pack.
• I just hated the fact that it had to be me who went and found out exactly why Remy was not responding to medicines and why she wasn’t healing. The doctors believed she might have omega blood in her, which was causing her healing to slow down.
