• I stood before the mirror regarding myself. Black smoke curled around me, the demonic energy eager to do my bidding. My eyes were black signifying that I was under the influence of the voice in my head.
• The soul shard had shown me the past. Shown me what Sybl had attempted to do. And how she'd failed completely. Tia Melanie was no an all powerful Coven Head. While Sybl was dead. Tia Melanie had escaped the clutches of Lilith. And was not too powerful for anyone to attempt to insert any sort of soul shard inside of her. But I, an untrained Earth Witch, had been easy pickings. This is why they'd been after me the entire time. This is why they had been so interested in me. This is why Tia Melanie had kept asking me to come join her coven. I had been trained in the basics of magic , yes. But extensive training to become as powerful as Tia Mel could only have happened if I had apprenticed under her. Which I had refused to do.
