Chapter 80
- Killian POV
- Something inside me had pushed me to start putting a plan in place, though I hadn’t come close to finishing it. All I had managed was a phone with a hidden number, one that linked back to me, and a single card meant for her to use if things went wrong. It wasn’t enough. It wasn’t anywhere near what Aurora deserved. Yet when I told her to run, it was the only lifeline I could give her.
- Cain’s body slams into mine with crushing force, and I hurl him off. Our wolves collide again and again, crashing through furniture, teeth snapping, claws gouging into the floor. Somewhere beyond the chaos, I hear Rosa’s shrill voice, but the red haze of rage drowns out her words.
