• I’ve messaged the number Irene gave me, and we’ve got a place to meet this witch. My stomach churns with nerves, but I’m ready to do whatever it takes to get answers, about the bond with Killian, why it’s still there when it shouldn’t be, and maybe even what’s happening between Lucas and me. Killian’s mated to someone else; the bond should be dead, severed, but it’s not. I feel every moment he’s with her, and he feels me too. It’s a chain I need to break.
