• I made sure Aurora was sent to work in a different car this morning. Which means I haven’t seen her all day. I’ve avoided every room she’s been in. Kept the blinds down. Blocked every possible chance of looking at her.
• It’s pathetic. I know it is. But the bond is worse than before. Stronger. Pulling at me like a leash I can’t break, and I know exactly why. Because I touched her. Because I let myself taste what should’ve stayed off limits.
