• Feeling a little more confident than I was a few hours ago even though we didn’t have the help that I was hoping for, it didn’t matter we were going to get through this. We would kill or be killed, but at least my mate would know I was fighting for her. I was tired of being this pathetic Alpha, it was time I found my light, it was time I fought back instead of having people walk all over me.
• I wasn't sure why my pack supported me all these years, but I was glad they had my back. They knew I was bringing the Luna home so they all wanted me to do my best to bring her safely home. I knew it was taking a chance, but the Council made a bad mistake and now they were going to see just how pissed off I was.
