• Soma’s POV
• Watching the doors I was nervous about what was about to happen to Darcy, I didn’t want to see her die because she wanted to give me a chance to run away. When the doors opened, and a guard was speaking to someone I was getting nervous. I thought I knew the voice but I wasn't sure.
• When he walked into the room I knew it was the Vampire King. What was he doing here? Was he going to be the one that kills Darcy and me? I was afraid, but I knew I had to be strong otherwise these Lycans and vampires would hurt me, I didn’t want to show them I was just this human they thought they could bully.
