• Lycan King Gideon’s POV
• I paced the floor, I knew my best warriors were out there looking for the girl. Nick showed the most promise. The girl he mentioned had a certain smell almost faint, I wasn't sure if it was because she was among the humans too long, or if her father had something to do with it. I needed to find out which it was.
• Heading to the island that Nathaniel was exiled to, I wasn't even sure he was alive, the last time anyone had seen him he wasn't too well off. Pity too he made a good warrior until he met his human mate, I hated her, and I hated him worse since he took something special from the Lycans.
