• Soma’s POV
• I was getting annoyed being with King Gideon his constant advances were pissing me off. I knew he wanted me to be his mate, but I wasn't and I wasn't going to give in to him, no matter how much he whines and complains that my place is next to him. I was going to get out of this castle one way or another.
• Since the vampires haven't moved in, it was probably something King Gideon used to scare the people of the kingdom, mostly as a form of control. Pacing around my room I knew taking a chance going through the window was probably not a good idea, but running out the front door is even worse. I knew getting away from King Gideon was going to be impossible, but I needed to try.
