• My heart was racing, I wasn't sure which way to go. I knew going in any direction could lead me into King Gideon’s guards, I was afraid to be caught, but I knew it was something that could happen, I had to be prepared, my body was exhausted but it wasn't time to sleep, I had to move.
• Sounds of howling all around me, I wasn't sure if it was because they finally figured out that I was out and about, or because the vampires were attacking. It didn’t matter I had to move.
