Chapter 89
- King Gideon’s POV
- Walking back to my office I knew leaving her in the care of Roman was the best idea as he is loyal to me and what I want. I just hoped she didn’t escape with him being in charge. I told him all about my plans to mark her when I get back and he seemed to think that was a good idea. I grabbed the things I needed to take with me to the Council, I needed them to ensure the werewolves were going to try and get her back. I was afraid they would change their mind if they spoke with her, that is why I was leaving her behind.
- “Before I leave I want to see you.” I mind-link Nathaniel, he was the one I was worried about. I didn’t want him to try and do anything, I knew he would but I hoped he wouldn't. I would hate to come back and he was dead because he didn’t listen to my warning.
