• Nick’s POV
• Hearing that they arrested Oliver I wasn't too happy with this news. I knew I needed to get back to New York, but I still hadn't found Nathaniel, I needed to know more about Soma and why she was so special to everyone. Yes, I knew she was a Princess but that doesn’t explain why everyone wants a piece of her, and why I was instructed to watch over her all these years. I loved Soma, but I didn’t understand her at all. She was a supposed Lycan but no one could tell me how she wasn't able to shift or knew anything about herself. Maybe she was just a human and when I find her father he can explain things and everything will make sense.
• “Where the hell is you, Nathaniel,” I growled wanting to just give up and go back to New York. I knew Soma needed me and I left her like a crazy friend. I guess I wanted to solve everything, but things weren’t getting solved here. Even though Nathaniel showed up at the castle he didn’t stick around to talk to me and that pissed me off. He knew I was in charge of keeping his daughter safe but didn’t want to give me the time. It figures.
