• Watching everything go down in slow motion was inviting. When I found out Roman had Nathaniel’s mate, I could see it was beginning to bring out his Lycan. I didn’t want to see Nathaniel hurt but if they killed each other I would just move my Clan into this castle and force the other Lycans to bow down to me, and show me the respect the vampires had lacked all these years.
• Lost in my thoughts I didn’t see Oliver lunge at Roman, I stood there and watch everything unfold. It was amazing that Oliver was able to fight through the drugs they were weak against, but it was also good that he was going to kill Roman.
