• King Gideon’s POV
• Shaking off the feeling I had, I walked to the door and pulled it open. The hallway was quiet which was kind of weird seeing the Council usually has staff here when they were here. This was a normal thing having meetings at night but something about tonight was off.
• My Lycan was on high guard, he could feel something wasn't right about tonight. He was telling me I should run and leave this place that this was a trap. But I couldn’t leave the Council hanging because then it would make me look weak. I knew I had to keep going even though my better judgment was telling me now.
