• Nathaniel’s POV
• When Mary told me she was going to stop and get Oliver to come to dinner I thought that was the best idea. I know she wanted to keep reassuring him that his mate would be fine and that he wouldn't have to worry about her rejecting him. I know how he feels, I was the same way with Mary. I was afraid she was going to tell me she couldn’t love me because I was going to be King and she couldn’t handle the pressure, but she was amazing. She was the reason I took the throne seriously and I was able to get the people around me, I will always love her for that.
• I wanted to show Oliver that he was going to have a huge place here in the palace if he wanted to move his pack to London. I knew that was highly unlikely but it was always going to be an option for him, or if he wants to pass the pack to someone else I could use him here too.
