• Nick’s POV
• Walking into that building, I knew things were not looking good for Oliver and Soma. I knew they were being forced apart and I would be Soma’s right-hand man when she was on Lycan land. I don’t know why I felt compelled to stay with the crown when Gideon isn't even the King, but I’ve chosen my side and this is what happens when things are at their worst.
• When Soma finds out the truth about everything, she is going to assume my feelings for her are fake and that she used me to gain a promotion. Sure the promotion would be nice but not at the expense of my best friend, someone I loved and wished we were more.
