Chapter 66 Alpha Damon
- Solitaire… I couldn’t understand why Solidad chose that name for her daughter. It wasn’t a terrible name, but the meaning behind it didn’t sit well with me. Still, I had more important things to focus on—like dealing with Solidad and her child. My jaw tightened as I watched her kneeling before me, pleading.
- “I can’t bear to be separated from my daughter, Alpha Damon. I know the destiny that awaits her, and I won’t stand in your way. But please… just give me a few more years. I promise, when she turns eighteen, I will willingly bring her to you,” she begged, tears streaming down her face.
- I shouldn’t have felt sympathy for her, but in that moment, I did. Maybe it was because every time I looked at her, I remembered my older brother. She was the woman he loved above all. He wouldn’t have wanted to see her brought so low, begging at my feet. So, I gave her mercy and walked away—for that day.
