• Despite trying to shield myself from the pain, my heart ached shamelessly at the thought of what might happen to Damon. The next morning, I woke up early to visit him, only to learn from the doctor that he had already left with Stone to continue searching for Jules.
• I couldn’t help but feel frustrated and upset with Damon. Does he not care about his own health? He’s still injured from yesterday’s events, yet he didn’t hesitate to throw himself back into the fray today. Yes, he’s strong, powerful, and resilient, but even the strongest beings have their limits. I can’t just stand by and watch him push himself to such extremes in his desperate quest for Jules.
