• The following day, Damon stayed within the palace, secluding himself in his office with two elders while the group of hunters, led by Stone, set out to track Jules' scent. Damon's attention was now focused on uncovering the traitor, as he knew Jules’ connection within the palace was thwarting every attempt to capture him. Without identifying the traitor, every move Damon made would be compromised.
• Meanwhile, I was searching for the right moment to sneak into Neticia's room. There was something about that room that piqued my curiosity. Though Neticia and Alpha Devon had passed away a century ago, her room remained untouched, as if frozen in time. I tried not to overthink it, but the thought lingered.
