• The way Samantha kept insisting that I follow her to the state where she intended to stay with her friend was very suspicious, to say the least. When I asked her why she was so particular about it, her reason was that I need to know where she is going to be staying in case of any emergency, and I bought that excuse hook, line, and sinker.
• Her sister went back to school the day after Samantha was admitted to the hospital, saying that she had a series of tests to write, but it was obvious that she wanted to escape her sister’s razor-sharp mouth. I don’t blame her at all. Actually, I feel quite sorry for the poor kid.
