• “Fuck you! You can’t do this to me! I won’t let you. I’ll ruin your fucking life!” Samantha screams as I walk away. She screams a lot of other things, but I don’t bother to listen as I walk away, enjoying the way the breeze ruffles my hair. I should have walked away a long time ago. It's times like this that I realize why Sebastian my cousin always has bodyguards on hand.
• It is only when I am far away from all the chaos and have booked the next available flight back, which leaves the next day, and checked into the closest hotel that I can find, that I let myself think about the events of the day, the most important of which had been what I saw just before Jessica left.
