Chapter 91 Meeting (One)

• Before I leave for Sebastian’s mother’s place, I call Samantha for the last time, already resigned to the fact that she would not take my call. The last time I called her, a man answered the call and then Samantha had come and taken the phone from him, explaining that he was her boyfriend.
• It stings a little that she’s abandoned me all because of a man, and while I understand and appreciate the fact that she’s in love, I don’t understand why that means that she has to cut off all her friends. To my surprise, she picks up my call, and even sounds quite cheery on the phone.
• So I tell her that I’m going to stay with Sebastian’s mom for a while, just in case she decides to visit me unannounced at any time, something that she’s fond of doing. I’m surprised when she calls me a few days later and begins to ask me the details of my journey, such as at what time I’ll be at the airport and what time my flight is leaving.
