Chapter 23 Past Occurences (Two)

• She ordered them to keep me in a small room at first, and it was manageable, except for the isolation. There was this huge, ugly beast of a man who was made to guide me, and he would always tell me what he would do to me in graphic detail.
• I ignored him, until one day, he got it into his head to rape me. I fought, and although he could have overpowered me, he didn’t. The day after that, he brought a cage that was barely big enough to contain me, and that is where I remained till the end of my captivity.” Jessica says. I can see her eyes looking glassy in the light of the flames, and it’s all I can do not to take her in my arms and wipe her tears away.
• “He brought me out every day and beat the living daylight out of me, before returning to my cage. I was fed once every day, with just enough food to keep me alive, so I was always hungry. Before long, I was nothing more than a skeleton with skin on its bones. I was allowed to bathe once a week, and I cherished those times because those were one of the few times I was let out of the cage. Till now, I have hideous scars all over my body from the beatings I received, scars that I can’t let anyone see because of how ugly they are.
