Chapter 73 A Surprise Call (Two)

• “No, you won’t. I want you gone right now. I’ll transfer another five thousand dollars to you, but that will be for a month. If you squander the money on whatever it is that you squandered the first one on, that will be no concern of mine. I’ll also rent an apartment for you to stay in. Take note that I’m doing all this not because I feel obligated to, but because you sort of helped me get back on my feet after I got back from the hospital.”
• “Sure, sure. No need to be rude or harsh about it. I’ll have to stay here for a night or two though, while we look at some suitable apartments. But for now, I have to eat something, otherwise, I’m going to faint.” Bianca tells me, moving straight into my kitchen as though she owns the place.
• I decide to let her stay for the night while I look for an apartment for her because there’s no way I’m letting her stay with me. However, that same evening, she comes down with a fever, which had worsened by the next evening, and it falls on me to take care of her because according to her, she has no family member here.
