Chapter 64

• The palace was extremely quiet late at night because everyone had gone to sleep, with the exception of the security guards who kept watch over the palace. Don had covered Elena with a blanket before he went to bed, and Elena was lying on the sofa.
• She heard a creak at the door and opened her eyes to see it partially open. She closed it once more and took a peep to see who was attempting to enter the room undetected. The door has never been locked since she moved in with the Don, and when she attempted to find out why, Alpha Don made it very apparent that it was done for security. In the event of an emergency, the door needs to be open unless they are awake.
• She watched as the door closed once more while lying motionless, and then she utilized her wolf sense to get a clear view. Lo and behold, it was Eowyn tiptoeing deeper into the room.
