• Lena was sitting on the ground with her legs crossed as he watched Don drink the blood tonic the doctor had brought for him while he was away. Since his return, she has not spoken to him and does not even have the motivation to do so.
• As soon as he finished the tonic, he shoved the table toward her. "Your calm demeanor bothers me; it is not flattering. Regarding her, did you have any suspicions?” He intervened to end their quiet exchange.
• She made an attempt to pretend to grin, but she was unable to do so. "I could tell she was looking for something in here, but I could not pinpoint what it was." Snorting, she repositioned herself. "Do not worry, whatever her motivation was to come here, I will not let her succeed."
