• Wolf growls. Lena's heart dropped into her stomach, but she summoned enough bravery to lead the way out of the hall. She snuggled into his fur, caressing her hand on his back to soothe his rage.
• Everyone who stood along the route bowed to him as they passed, daring not to raise their heads.
• He continued to snarl while walking side by side with Lena until they entered his chamber. Before her, he converted into a human, yet his furs remained all over him. His eyes shone like lightning, and his chest grew as he breathed.
