Chapter 53

Elena monitored the hourglass. Making good use of her time, Alpha Don would pay a visit to the assassins inside the cell. When Alpha departed, she wore a hat to conceal her dress and left the palace.
Her goal was to pay a visit to the doctor overseeing her mother's care prior to her passing. It would be wisest to meet with the doctor and ask him some questions because she knows that he was never transferred and continued to visit the palace until her father passed away.
She clutched her palms to her chest, hastening her steps as much as she could so she would meet the physician and return faster before the Alpha Don asked about her.
