- The next morning, after the sun had risen, Don was still in his room getting ready for the day's activities when the doorbell rang. "Come in!" he said, buttoning his shirt and glancing at the door as Beta entered. “I am ready to leave….”
- "That is why I came here in a rush to meet you—" he approached Don. "About the previous assignment you assigned to me."
- Alpha Don turned upon hearing that. "What have you discovered?"
