Chapter 68
- Imogen Clarke's POV
- I never expected Clara to charge into the house like that. James wasn't around, but when I overheard my father's mother, Eleanor, being challenged by someone aggressively, the worst idea struck me. Clara is argumentative and impulsive. If I could make her attack Eleanor, I would use it to coerce Edward into making a decision between us and get rid of Clara once and for all.
- Thus, I did not stop Eleanor from lashing out, and I most definitely did not stop her from spitting at Clara. The drama went up further, and Clara almost choked her. Since it was now a public show, Eleanor would carry this to the extreme as well.
