• I wasn't going to let Fiona be unhappy because of me. I phoned Edward over and over again, but he never answered. Defeated, I went to his company, Harrington Enterprises, but was stopped by a new receptionist. She was familiar. It was the same receptionist who used to work for his old company in City A. At that moment, she always smiled so warmly at me, but now the tone was cold and aloof.
