• And at that point, he was about leaving the office when he saw a familiar figure, Jenna was even the one who called out to him, he remembered Amber leaving the office in such a hurry to get somewhere so he understood why she didn't come early enough to pick up her kids, that was why he volunteered to carry them home. After Xavier finished explaining his own part, Amber calmed down a bit after hearing what Xavier had to say. She remained quiet as Xavier drove them back home. When he stopped at her house, She came down and opened the car door for her kids to come down,"Be careful with your steps' ' Amber told Elena as she came down. Once the kids were out, she told them to go inside and wait for her, which they all nodded to. But before Jenna went inside, she turned towards Xavier and waved him saying,"Goodbye Mr handsome, oops, Mr Xavier, you are a really kind person" Jenna said smiling at Xavier who smiled at her back. Xavier already came down from his car so he was leaning on his car door now as he nodded at Jenna,"Goodbye Little Jenna, be good" Jenna waved one last time as she skipped inside.
• Amber almost awed at both of them, she didn't know why but their chatting made her smile wide. She looked at Xavier and said,"Looks like Jenna is pretty much fond of you, I am already getting jealous" Xavier smiled at her words and said," I do think she's fond of you more, don't deny it". Amber shook her head,"You know that's not true Sir". Xavier looked at her,"Oh really? Says the person she calls mom, she calls you mum even when you are not their real mother, the three of them do, doesn't that speak volumes?" Amber words got stuck in her throat, she realized the kids always call her mum in front of Xavier whom she told they aren't her real kids. She silently hoped Xavier won't think deep into it. She nervously chuckled to cover up her surprised expression,"Oops, you caught me there, I take care of them 24/7 as their babysitter so you could say they are indeed fond of me". Xavier nodded before he said,"I don't blame them though, your kind and jovial attitude draws them to you, who wouldn't like you?" Amber felt her heartbeat, why was he talking this way to her? A blush crept up her cheek as she couldn't help the wide smile that made its way to her face. "Aww, thank you Sir, I'm really honored to receive a compliment from you".
• Xavier was charmed by her smile, he kept on staring at her, the way her eyes close up in a slit, her white set of teeth show and her deep one sided dimple on full display as she smiles widely didn't go unnoticed by him. In his mind at that point, it was the most beautiful sight he has ever set his eyes on. Amber noticed Xavier staring at her instantly, she instantly blushed and cleared her throat, what's with the intense stare? She thought. Xavier realized he was probably making her uncomfortable with his stare, he cleared his throat and faced her,"You have such a beautiful smile, don't stop smiling" Xavier said to her, his sentence left Amber awestruck, she didn't even him "See you later", she just continued staring at him till he entered his car and zoomed off.
