• She had been shocked and stupefied. She all of people knew how much Corey was unresponsive to girls and boys. In fact he would have long stopped interacting with her if she didn’t shamelessly cling to him like a lice.
• She hadn’t even found time to call Corey and confirm that it was a rumour when Corey made his official post shocking her. Some of her friends had called to ask her if she was one, some stylishly congratulating just to hear some gossip but no matter how much Stephanie wished, she wasn’t the one Corey was getting married to.
• Even as crazily as she wanted to fly back, the project had gone midway and was in the process of been a success , she had to wait till it was completed before finally leaving. She tried calling Corey to dissuade him from getting married but the latter wouldn’t even pick her calls.
