Chapter 6

• “Me? Get into trouble? What do you mean? Mona, you have to stop accusing me unnecessarily. Everything went fine” Natalia replied as Mona chuckled.
• “We all know that somehow, you are trouble attractive” Mona replied as Natalia flashed her two friends a smile.
• “I saw a lot of people there, actors, actresses, celebrities and a lot of rich people; people like us only get to see in magazines and on TV” Natalia said as Anita nodded.
• “That’s a given. That club is one of the biggest clubs in the whole of California and the Gaetti family owns it. Anyways unless it is Corey Amante you ran into; anyone you see there is not my business” Anita replied as Natalia turned to her and opened her mouth to talk but she ended up chuckling.
• She had actually forgotten that one of her best friends was a Corey Amante freak and was a big fan. Natalia wore a huge smile and nodded.
• “I know right. Corey Amante is the most handsome man in the world to you” Natalia said as Mona burst into laughter.
• ‘You can’t actually deny the fact that that man is hot and sexy. He is not just handsome, he’s....... damn...” Mona dragged as Anita slapped handshakes with her.
• “He’s hot” Mona added as Natalia laughed nodding her head.
• “Who doesn’t know that?” Natalia asked as she laughed and folded her arms. This was her last class for the day and deep down she had started becoming anxious whether Corey would come or not. A strange number that sent her a message in the morning asking her when her classes would be done. Natalia had been confused at first but it took her only a moment to realize that it was Corey and was quick to send him her schedule for the day. His reply was that he would be waiting for her by the time she was done with her classes giving her jumpy butterflies for a minute.
• “Finally we are done for the day” Anita said as the girls started packing their bags.
• “Do you guys want to come over to my place for Netflix and chill tonight?” Mona asked as Anita nodded.
• “Sure. I’m getting bored out of his mind these days” Anita replied as Natalia pursed her lips choosing to gamble on the fact that Corey would be waiting for her.
• “I don’t think I will be able to make it,” Natalia said as the two girls turned to her.
• “Today is Thursday. You always have days off today” Mona said as Natalia nodded.
• “Yes. I have something on” Natalia replied as Anita furrowed her brows.
• “What’s going on Natalia? Is there a problem?” Anita asked. They all knew that Natalia was an orphan who supported herself and was schooling due to the scholarship the school offered her.
• Natalia wore a bright smile while playfully punching Anita in the shoulder “Stop wearing that super worried expression. It’s nothing” Natalia replied as Anita sighed.
• “Are you sure?” Mona asked as Natalia nodded.
• ``Absolutely” Natalia replied as the girls carried their bags and walked out of the lecture theater.
• “What movie should we watch?” Mona asked as Anita brought her hands under her chin as if thinking.
• “Why don’t you guys get home first and check the new movies on Netflix then you can pick anyone which you feel is fine” Natalia said as Anita nodded.
• “That’s actually better” Anita said as they started walking through the walkway and suddenly they heard a horn. Instinctively, the three girls turned and their eyes widened upon seeing a black Bugatti a few meters away from them.
• One look and Natalia knew that it was Corey. A huge smile formed on her lips as her anxious mind immediately calmed down.
• He came.
• “Okay, guys I have to go. See you guys later” Natalia said with a huge smile on her lips.
• The car was already attracting attention and Natalia quickly walked towards it and she opened the front door and got in. Right under Mona’s and Anita’s eyes, the car reversed and sped out of sight.
• “Mona, care to explain why Natalia got into that Bugatti?” Anita asked, her voice slightly shaky.
• “I have no idea why or how either” Mona replied as they both turned to each other.
• “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” Anita asked as Mona knocked her lightly on the head.
• “Natalia would never do that. Her ego is too big for that; her pride is as huge as the universe. She would rather wallow in poverty, work ten jobs than be one old man’s mistress. Why are you even thinking like that by the way?” Mona asked with a slightly displeased expression as Anita sighed.
• “C’mon Mona, that Bugatti is the latest, the one we saw in the magazine the last time. I’m sure it’s the one. I know how big Natalia’s ego and pride is Mona. Who actually doesn’t?” Anita asked as Mona pursed her lips.
• “Whatever happens, Natalia knows what she’s doing. When she comes back; we can ask her to explain. So let’s just wait till when she comes back” Mona replied as Anita nodded.
• ‘Okay, let’s do that, ' Anita said as she chuckled.
• ‘You realize there was this huge smile on her when she was walking towards that car?” Anita asked as Mona nodded.
• “I thought I was the only one who noticed it. Do you think Natalia has a boyfriend?” Mona asked as Anita’s eyes widened while she shook her head.
• “There's a 10% possibility that that’s true,” Anita replied as Mona nodded.
• “That’s right though. At least we would have gotten a wind of it” Mona said as Anita sighed.
• “Dam, Natalia is making us guess all kinds of weird things. Can she come back already?” Anita asked as Mona laughed.
