Chapter 83

• “Director Fiona, we found traces of agent Parker” one of the hackers suddenly muttered as Director Fiona turned to Corey and seeing the latter give no reaction at all. She nodded at the agent who immediately barked out an order and Corey slowly rose from his seat. His knuckles were hurting badly and he didn’t even think they hurt them much when he was competing. He had finally made a decision in his mind. At this point, there was no going back.
• The bodyguards in the room immediately stood at attention as Corey strode out of the room without a word. Natalia pursed her lips trying to blink back her tears as she tried to rush after Corey. She didn’t even know what to say.
• “Corey!” she called as she turned into the corridor. The man stopped and turned to her with a blank face. The face immediately made her mute and the kind of pain that tore through her couldn’t be described. The words in her throat couldn’t be spat out no matter what. She watched as the man withdrew his eyes, turned and continued walking away.
