Chapter 17

• By the time Corey stepped into the conference room the next morning, he could easily see the long rows of shareholders in the room. He easily identified some of his cousins, uncles and aunties that were seated in the room. He could see the twisted and anxious expressions on their face. He calmly walked towards his mother and sat down beside her.
• “Did you eat this morning?” his mom asked as Corey nodded his head quietly.
• “What did you eat?’ she asked as Corey adjusted the knot of his tie.
