Chapter 146

• Zara snorted as soon as she saw their expression and then walked into the company buildings. The fact that she had to leave suddenly without preparations thoroughly annoyed her, although it was more like the thought of leaving John was thoroughly annoying. She cursed inwardly upon realising that if she had waited till dawn before going through John’s attachment, she might not be able to help him at all, the thought made her swear inwardly as well.
• Although she knew that these people wouldn’t call her if it weren’t something very important, it still pissed her off and she hoped that whatever it was wouldn’t take her time at all. The urge to quickly go back to be with John was slowly overcoming her thoughts and mind. Even though she knew she was already going too far with her delusions and thoughts, for once in her life Zara didn’t mind.
• She watched her elevator stop at the topmost floor and walked into the conference room where everyone was standing waiting for her. Knowing their boss well, they all sensed that she was in a bad mood and they all sat down after she sat down but under her cold and fierce gaze, they all felt like they were seating on needles.
