• Even when they had spoken and he had given her his card, Adrianna had still thought it was all a dream and she had just been imagining it. But when she got home and checked the business card again, she realised that everything that had happened in the store earlier was real and it wasn’t the product of her excessive obsession with him.
• Stupefied and anxious, she thought of what to do. She wanted to go and look for him and she was scared that he might not even remember her by the way. The amount of people he met every day and gave his card too would easily fill up the whole of cape town. Adrianna never planned to look for him, she needed help badly but she didn’t think she would be able to receive help from Leon, she felt immensely embarrassed about it and she had no idea why.
• She didn’t need help, but she still went to look for him no thanks to her obsession. It didn’t matter if he didn’t remember her; she was going to make him too. It wasn’t a big bother that much. She had dressed up in a kind of way as if she was going to the club and let her hair loose knowing the amount of heads that would be thrown her way as she left the house.
