• Kaia had just opened her eyes when the doctor walked in. Kai, Venice, and Jane were seated at the far end of the room, and as soon as they noticed the doctor, Kai stood up and made his way to her.
• The doctor now stood beside Kaia’s bed. She checked the IV and jotted something on her notepad before speaking.
• “Mrs. Kaia Sorrento, you seem to have a thing for hospitals, huh? Do you have a fetish or something? Weren’t you just discharged like a month ago?”
