• It has been a month since Kaia Everhart came back to her home town. Over the weeks, she'd tried getting past the pain and the trauma she experienced and she was now proud of herself because she had not thought about Kai or her baby in days.
• Of course, the first days were extremely difficult. Having to deal with the fact that her parents ignored her because she kept her marriage to Kai a secret, to having to watch her phone ring with either his name or Venice's name popping up on her phone whenever she had just stopped crying. Then, that will make her start crying all over again.
• But as she promised herself, she was going to stop dwelling on the past and focus on herself, and for the past few days, she'd started doing just that.
