• Kai folded his arms. The corners of his mouth curled into a sly smile as he struggled to suppress the laughter threatening to escape. It wasn’t necessarily that he found what she said funny—well, maybe he did—but it was also how she said it. The way she folded her arms in an attempt to sound more authoritative and demanding amused him.
• Did she not know who she was dealing with?
• “Okay...” Kai walked past her and returned to what he was doing.
