Chapter 33

• Later that evening, Kaia laid in Gian's bed, staring at the ceiling and counting the minutes until he returned home. She'd showered, got on the phone with her parents and then proceeded to fix dinner for Kai in case he felt like eating.
• She locked herself in his room, basking in the smell of his things whilst she waited for him.
• Then she heard her phone ring. She picked it up and a smile formed on her lips she answered and brought the phone to her ear.
