Chapter 52

• The Everhart family lived in a small town up south. Growing up, Kaia never thought she'd have the courage to leave the town she grew up in, or even leave her parents. But then after high school, Kaia gained admission into a training centre and realised that she had to leave town if she wanted to succeed.
• She made a promise to herself to return only when she was successful. She never thought she'd have to return home, feeling more lost than she was when leaving.
