• "Venice? I was surprised when they told me you were here to see me."
• Kaia walked along the pavement, a smile on her face for the first time in days. She passed the perfectly trimmed flowers around the pool and headed toward the gazebo at the far end of the garden.
• The gazebo looked like something out of a '90s movie. To others, it may have seemed outdated, but to her, it was perfect; simple, yet exuding a classy and sophisticated charm.
