• When Nora was convinced that Kara and Doctor Max were long gone, she decided to carry out her initial plan. She had been fearful all that while, knowing the king had returned from his trip with Beta Ryan and had gone on another one. She still couldn't muster the courage to do it, but then her clock was ticking, and she needed to take swift action.
• She put on Beta Ryan's wristwatch, closed her eyes, and placed a mirror in front of her. As she gradually opened them, she saw that she had taken Beta Ryan's form. She cleared her throat and began trying to see if her voice would match Beta Ryan's. She had seen him a few times and knew how he spoke— his calm demeanor and all. Nora adopted it and decided to head out to Alpha Devin's place.
