Chapter 51 Distress Call

• Nora asked one of the maids to call Kara to meet her downstairs in the car. As Kara got into the car with her bandaged hands, she noticed that Nora 's expression was unwelcoming and concern etched on her face.
• "Did anything happen between you and Lord Damon?" Kara asked, a hint of worry in her voice.
• "No, it's nothing," Nora lied. "It's nothing serious," she repeated it with much vehemence, and Kara could read between the lines that everything she had said, she meant the opposite.
