• “A baby? How? When?” She muttered feebly, turning her face away from Derek, as if trying to get answers from someone else, who was not in the room with them.
• Derek knew she was surprised, hence the flood of questions. “The doctor said you needed to be monitored closely, we can't afford to lose you or the baby,” he said, while gently rubbing her hands.
