Chapter 46 Apology Doesn't Solve Everything

  • "Yes, my fiancee, so just ask her when you see her," Derrick added and Serena nodded her head. "About the hospital, I want to say thank you for helping me," Serena said. "I did what every other person would have done, you don't have to thank me," Derrick said and made to leave but Serena stopped him. "I'm also sorry for the fight, I shouldn't have used some words I used on you," Serena said. Derrick stared at her for a while and then walked out without saying anything.
  • "That was embarrassing," Serena said to herself after closing the door. "I think I should move out, I'm not sure I can do this anymore," She added. She glanced at her tray and sighed. "What a wasted effort, I made pancake for his girlfriend, wow, nice one Serena," Serena shook her head vigorously and tossed the tray aside before heading to her room to have a good night's sleep.
  • Xiomara woke up feeling very weak, she had cried herself to sleep and her eyes were swollen. She glanced at the alarm clock and hissed, she overslept and woke up an hour later than usual. "Gosh, my head hurts," She whined as she got off the bed just then a soft knock was heard before the door gradually opened and Yvette and Mary walked in carrying breakfast. "Good Morning, we thought you might want to eat and take some pain-relieving drugs before starting your day," Yvette said and Xiomara smiled. Yvette was just the best and she loved her for her capability of guessing what she wanted. "Thanks, I really appreciate it," Xiomara said and sat down while Yvette and Mary served her. "Do you want us to Kill Eleanor?" Mary asked and Xiomara smiled glancing at her. "Not yet, I still have some questions for her," Xiomara said. She desperately wanted to ask Eleanor why she decided to be the one to bring harm to her. They were friends and she has never thought of hurting Eleanor's infant she saw her as an elder sister and siblings she never had. "How do you plan on asking her the questions? Do you think she would open up to you?" Yvette asked. "I know she isn't going to open up to me, especially when I'm going to approach her as Genesis Dean, the nerd she bullied in high school," Xiomara said. "So how would you do it?" Mary asked and Xiomara smiled, "What do you think, I'm going to use the same method I used on Olivia Wallace, stare her to the bones with pictures of her and Lucas and scary creepy notes from Ursula Day," Xiomara said.
